ISR100

ISR 100 at ISR University is a beginner-level course covering intelligence gathering, analysis, and ISR asset use—designed for professionals supporting air ops and intelligence work.

LDR110

LDR 110 at ISR University is a 5-day course for new intelligence officers, building core skills in analysis, critical thinking, and mission support across various operational environments.

ISR130

This course introduces the five phases of the Intelligence Planning Cycle—planning, collection, processing/exploitation, analysis/production, and dissemination. Students learn to apply the cycle within the Air Tasking Order and Targeting Processes to meet Commander’s objectives through practical exercises and assessments.

IADS100

This course explores the core components of Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), including sensors, lethal and nonlethal capabilities, and C4I. Students examine threat capabilities, engagement concepts, and mission planning considerations, with practical exercises and evaluations enhancing tactical intelligence support.

CT100

This course develops essential critical thinking and structured analysis skills for analysts. Students learn to synthesize data, identify biases, apply logic and argument mapping, and improve decision-making. Graduates gain foundational tools to enhance reasoning and analytical clarity.

AW100

This course explores the core components of Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), including sensors, lethal and nonlethal capabilities, and C4I. Students examine threat capabilities, engagement concepts, and mission planning considerations, with practical exercises and evaluations enhancing tactical intelligence support.

AW200

This course develops analysts’ writing skills with a focus on evidence-based, decision-focused communication. Students learn to craft clear, coherent, and concise written assessments through training in sourcing, uncertainty, argument mapping, and customer-oriented analysis.

DA100

This course teaches analysts to transform raw data into actionable insights using predictive modeling, visualization tools, and critical thinking techniques. Through the Socratic method and practical application, students learn to shape, interpret, and communicate data effectively to influence decisions.

ISR120

This course focuses on the process of Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB) and its critical role in supporting military operations. Students will learn how to analyze and assess the operational environment, including terrain, weather, enemy forces, and other relevant factors to provide actionable intelligence. The course covers methodologies for identifying and prioritizing intelligence requirements, evaluating threat systems, and using ISR assets to shape operational plans. Students will also explore the integration of geospatial information, operational models, and the application of analytic principles to anticipate enemy actions and support decision-making. Through practical exercises, students will develop the skills necessary to effectively conduct IPB in dynamic and complex operational settings.

EM110

This course introduces key concepts and applications of the electromagnetic spectrum, emphasizing its military uses across radio, microwave, infrared, and visible regions. Students will explore how wavelength, frequency, and power impact operations through interactive lessons and practical exercises.

TGT110

This course introduces the foundational concepts and processes of targeting, including frameworks like D3A, F2T2EA, and Effects-Based Operations. Students learn to analyze, prioritize, and align targets with mission objectives, and conclude with a capstone exercise on targeting strategy.
