This course focuses on the process of Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB) and its critical role in supporting military operations. Students will learn how to analyze and assess the operational environment, including terrain, weather, enemy forces, and other relevant factors to provide actionable intelligence. The course covers methodologies for identifying and prioritizing intelligence requirements, evaluating threat systems, and using ISR assets to shape operational plans. Students will also explore the integration of geospatial information, operational models, and the application of analytic principles to anticipate enemy actions and support decision-making. Through practical exercises, students will develop the skills necessary to effectively conduct IPB in dynamic and complex operational settings.
