Focused on adversarial capabilities from China and Russia, as well as the dual-use potential of commercial innovations, this course examines the range of threats posed to freedom of action in space. Students will explore both kinetic and non-kinetic counter-space weapons, electronic interference, and the implications of commercial technologies like orbital maintenance and debris removal being repurposed for hostile use. By following the Space Threat Continuum, students will gain the awareness needed to safeguard space assets, deny adversaries advantage, and support national and allied interests in the contested space domain.
