This 7-day course equips students with a comprehensive understanding of offensive and defensive space control concepts. Students will explore how offensive space control operations are used to prevent adversaries from leveraging space capabilities, including tactics that deny, degrade, deceive, disrupt, or destroy enemy assets. The course also examines defensive space control strategies designed to protect and preserve access to friendly space capabilities through both active and passive means. Through online discussion and scenario-based learning, students will analyze how adversaries gain access to space capabilities and evaluate the operational planning considerations necessary for the employment of space control measures.
