Space Professional Certification

Many ISR University courses earn credit toward Global Space University’s Space Professional Certification Program, sponsored by the Space Force Association (SFA). This program raises and normalizes standards for space professionals, by validating your knowledge, skills, and experience as a practitioner in the space domain. It verifies credentials, and establishes your credibility. The four certification levels below provide clients and partners with the confidence that you meet stringent professional standards.  They also show you’re on top of your field through continuous education, training, and interaction.

Your existing experience can help you earn Space Professional Level 1 Certification. If you have previously completed space courses, and have worked in the space field, you can take a test to evaluate your level of credit. If you possess the requisite knowledge, you may be able to “test out” of the Level I course requirement. ISR University is currently developing similar tests for Level 2 and Level 3 certification.

Certified Space Professionals must complete 40 hours of Continuing Education Credits every three years to maintain Level 1 Certification, 60 hours to maintain Level 2, and 60 hours to maintain Level 3.
