Understand the Space Capabilities of Global Adversaries
This 8-hour asynchronous course introduces students to the integrated space, terrestrial, and cyber capabilities leveraged by global adversaries, with a primary focus on China, Russia, and commercial space programs. Students will explore how these nations use space-based technologies to support national objectives and gain global awareness. The course also highlights how the expanding commercial space industry provides low-cost opportunities for strategic advantage. Through an examination of national doctrine, current and emerging technologies, and the motivations behind these programs, students will gain a firm understanding of the challenges and opportunities these capabilities pose to U.S. and allied space operations.
