Space 302

Space and Cyber Integration

Cyber-secure. Mission-assured.
This 4-hour asynchronous, self-paced course introduces students to the evolving relationship between the space and cyber domains. Through an exploration of cyber warfare, digital communication environments, and the convergence of physical and virtual infrastructure, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how cyberspace supports and impacts space operations. The course examines the interdependent nature of critical systems such as telecommunications networks, computer systems, and embedded processors, and explores how cyber considerations intersect with other physical domains, including air, land, sea, and space. By the end of the course, graduates will be able to articulate the vital role of cyber in the success and security of space missions.
